The Executive Council perform all functions on behalf of the Bobakeye Akile-Ijebu (London) Branch in collaboration with the supreme council of executives in Nigeria, except those exclusively reserved for the general assembly in the UK. The executive council manages the affairs of the society in the UK and the other parts of Europe.

The members of the executive council are constitutionally elected every three years by secret ballot from among the financial members at the annual general meeting. The executive council works in conjunction with Committee Executive Officers.
