The age-group united together for promoting the spirit ofunderstanding and co-operation identified with all Ijebu traditions and customs. Membership of the egbe is opened to all sons of Ijebu-land born between 1st of January 1956 and 31 December 1958 and is also opened to anybody irrespective of religion, profession or town of origin within Akile Ijebu.

According to our constitution, application for membership shall be made on a prescribed form to be obtained by all intending members on payment of a non-refundable fee subject to change from time to time. An applicant shall be sponsored by two referees from members of good standing. All application shall be considered by membership /screening committee of the egbe and if successful, the new member shall be given full membership upon fulfilment and payment of membership fee.
